Welcome to the second pre-season test for the 2013 Formula One World Championship season at the Circuit de Catalunya.
The Formula One circus left Jerez conceding no secrets to each team’s true competitiveness.
Analysis into workability of each car suggested that McLaren may once again have the most competitive package, with Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber yet to perfect their working relationship with the RB9.
A raft of new updates are expected for the penultimate test this week, which will last from today (February 19) until Friday evening (February 22).
This test will also be the first for the Williams FW35, expected to be unveiled shortly before testing commences.
Ferrari will be the only team to run a driver more than twice, with Fernando Alonso occupying the F138 for the first three days of the test. Felipe Massa will take over the car for the final day.
Paul di Resta will be in the seat for Force India for the first two days, with Adrian Sutil and Jules Bianchi seemingly battling it out for the 2013 race seat during the second half of the test.
Pastor Maldonado and Valtteri Bottas will each get two days in the car, though they will swap at the lunch breaks during both Thursday and Friday, evening out the day’s workload between the experienced Venezuelan and the rookie Finn.
Daniel Ricciardo will run on Tuesday and Wednesday, with Jean-Eric Vergne taking over for the third and fourth days.
At Marussia, Luiz Razia will take over from Max Chilton after Wednesday.
Testing begins each day at 08:00 GMT.
