A Day at Barbagallo

I went down to the local racetrack yesterday to watch amateur racers in numerous different cars try their best to entertain the 100-200 spectators that were willing to make the hour journey north. Here’s a few of the snaps to share. Click on the photographs to enlarge them.

Car 35 trails well behind the rest of the field

I wasn’t quite sure how the leading car (left) managed to come under the “street car” classification, but he did and secured victory in each of his field’s races

The driver of the Civic was unmatched all day. In the second race, starting order reversed, he came from last to be leading the pack by 4 seconds at the end of the first lap. Keep in mind it’s a ~60 second lap.
